Overview:

  • This course is suitable for students who are fresh to the world of music and also students with prior keyboard learning.

 

Eligibility / Prerequisites:

  • The student should be min 8+ Years.
  • The student should have access to the 61 key keyboard with a touch response and banking facility. 

 

Syllabus:

  • Introduction to the Keyboard.
  • Basic music reading.
  • Knowing different Time Signatures.
  • Building finger Independence
  • Left and right-hand coordination exercises.
  • Legato and Staccato.
  • Learning different chords.
  • Time Values and Rhythmic understanding.
  • Broken chords and Arpeggios
  • Introduction to Scales.

He started his musical journey at a very young age and is proficient in Western classical music, music theory as well as Carnatic classical music. He has completed Grade 8 in Western Classical Piano from ABRSM and holds a diploma in Music Performance from the Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music (SAM), Chennai. With over 8+ years of teaching experience, his teaching methods are remarkable and he constantly perseveres to impart his knowledge. Lots of his students have appeared for the exams conducted by the Trinity College and ABRSM where most of them have passed with distinction or merit. Being a performer himself, he trains his students such that they grow overall as performing musicians.
