Course Details

Learn to sew or keep on sewing! Kids of all skill levels 9-14 can join us for this 5-session weekly sewing class. Instructor Mary will keep kids engaged making projects they will love.
 

Supplies Needed:

  • sewing machine in good working order, with bobbins and machine accessories (Need to borrow a machine from us? CONTACT US by phone to reserve one.)

  • Absolute beginners should have 1/2 yard cotton muslin for practice stitching

  • Additionally, please budget $30 - $50 for pattern and fabric for your class project - selections will be made during first class. Cost will vary with project choice.


You will also need the following BASIC SEWING SUPPLIES (also available for purchase as a kit - call store for details):

  • sewing scissors

  • tape measure

  • straight pins

  • seam ripper

  • 6" seam gauge

  • washable fabric marker or chalk pencil

  • one package of assorted size Universal sewing machine needles

  • hand sewing needles
