Get your children baking this summer. Our bread making day is designed for kids aged 7-16. Making bread is both a treat and a satisfying experience, the aromas amazing and with a few transferable skills you will be enjoying baking for years to come. In this class Baker Victoria Richardson will show you the delights of working with different types of dough to achieve the best results.
Examples of what you will learn: Each pair will work together to make the following
Regular Dough – for pizza, garlic bread. Kids will eat their pizza for lunch
Shaped Rolls
Enriched Dough – Chelsea Bun, iced fingers, cream cookies. Kids will eat their iced buns for lunch
Save the planet! – bring at least four large re-useable containers and a bag to transport your bakes home. We have disposable ones if you forget.
What’s Included:
Refreshments throughout the day.
Light lunch, you will eat the pizza you make and your iced buns for dessert.
Copies of the recipes will be emailed to you after the class.
