Kids love to sew. In fact, children as young as six can learn this valuable and lifelong skill!
Classes are open to students ages 6 – 12 and are offered between September – May. Students are welcome to begin at any point in this timeframe!

Your kids will develop an array of sewing skills, and will leave with handmade treasures they will love!
New students are required to attend my complimentary one-hour “Sewing Machine Fun!” safety course prior to the beginning of class. Please contact me to arrange a time.
For over 10 years I’ve been teaching an almost lost art to young (and not-so-young) people: I teach them to sew. In fact, JoLene’s Sewing School just celebrated its 10-year Anniversary!
Bernina Basics Guide Class is designed to provide Bernina owners with the fundamental skills required to use and maintain their sewing machine.
Open Sewing Retreat $20 per day with 24 hr. access. Come sew with others and share good times, good food and good ideas. For all classes you will need to bring your own sewing machine and knowledge of how it works and basic sewing supplies.
Learn to sew over four sessions with in-depth instruction!
