Knit 101 - B (Level 2)
You'll learn the purl stitch, stockinette, ribbing and seed textures. You'll also learn how to "read" your stitches.
Note: K101-A and K101-B are separate sessions. If you would like to take both sessions, please register for each separately.

About
The daughter of an interior designer and a real estate broker, owner Allison Isaacs learned to knit and needlepoint at an early age. After a successful career in healthcare, she began indulging her love for knitting by selling her patterns and handknits in local stores. She recently gave into fate and picked up her needles full time, becoming the driving force behind the opening of ImagiKnit.
ImagiKnit opened on the corner of 18th and Sanchez in the Fall of 2002. Two years later, with yarn filling every nook and cranny, the store grew, taking over the storefront next door. ImagiKnit is known for it's amazing selection, satisfying the knit and crochet needs of Bay Area residents and beyond.
Today, ImagiKnit is San Francisco's premiere yarn shop. We specialize in yarn of all fibers, thicknesses and textures. If all you need is the right tool for your next knitting or crochet project, we stock a huge range of sizes and brands. ImagiKnit also has an amazing selection of patterns and magazines, stitch encyclopedias, and many more comprehensive books that would teach you everything from how to knit, to how to knit your French Bull Dog a cardigan.
Our knowledgeable and helpful staff are always on hand to help you find the perfect yarn for your project. Be sure to check out our constantly rotating schedule of classes in knitting, crochet, felting, weaving, and more.
Back by popular demand: learn to knit a basket using giant yarn! In this workshop you'll be working with a big ball of felted wool and huge needles. We’ll be knitting our baskets from pure New Zealand wool yarn that’s hand-felted by women artisans in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Our classes are designed to introduce you to the basics of quilting by the quilters teaching the classes. From rotary cutting, pressing and block and quilt assembly!
This class is for students who already know how to cast on, the knit, purl stitch and binding off. We will not be teaching those in this class.
