About

The daughter of an interior designer and a real estate broker, owner Allison Isaacs learned to knit and needlepoint at an early age. After a successful career in healthcare, she began indulging her love for knitting by selling her patterns and handknits in local stores. She recently gave into fate and picked up her needles full time, becoming the driving force behind the opening of ImagiKnit.

ImagiKnit opened on the corner of 18th and Sanchez in the Fall of 2002. Two years later, with yarn filling every nook and cranny, the store grew, taking over the storefront next door. ImagiKnit is known for it's amazing selection, satisfying the knit and crochet needs of Bay Area residents and beyond. 

Today, ImagiKnit is San Francisco's premiere yarn shop. We specialize in yarn of all fibers, thicknesses and textures.
