DurationThis course is offered by JJ's Crafts, Located in the heart of Taradale, JJ's Crafts store is filled with colourful fabrics, threads, embroidery and yarn products to help make your craft dreams become reality.
JJ's is your one stop shop for all your quilting, patchwork, embroidery and knitting needs with extensive ranges of all fibre art products. We are also a licensed Husqvarna agent.
Threads : Including selections from Threadworx, Colourstream, Rainbow Gallery, Au ver a Soir Silk, Cottage Garden, Caron & Cameleon to name but a few along with Rajmahal, Maderia Silk, Appletons Crewel, Anchor and DMC.
Beads : an extensive range of Delica, Mill Hill, Swarovski Crystals and embellishment beads to name a few, that are suitable for both embroidery, embellishing and jewellery.
Patchwork fabrics, Patterns, BOM kits, quilting threads and accessories.

In these sessions you can knit or crochet  with others while getting the support you need to start or finish articles and learn new techniques. We will support you to learn the skills you need to make the items you want! Weekly classes, 8 per term. Materials not included.Â
Sunday afternoons is a great time to relax with some knitting or crochet and good company!Â
Develop confidence through understanding and using your overlocker as you practise a range of sewing techniques for woven and knit fabrics. Not for beginners.
Learn the basics of knitting in this six hour class over three sessions - casting on, knit and purl stitches, increasing and decreasing and casting off. Bring a 50gm ball of double knitting (8 ply) cotton yarn and 4mm knitting needles.
We offer workshops in knitting and crochet. Our workshops are suitable for all skill levels, from absolute beginner to the advanced crafter who is looking to sharpen their skills and connect with fellow crafters in a fun environment.Â
