Knit Cardigan

Tackle knits and sew a cardigan in this fun and informative garment class. In this 3-session class, you will learn how to:

• Measure your body and select the correct size
• Choose appropriate knits based on degrees of stretch
• Read a commercial pattern
• Construct a cardigan
• Tips and tricks for sewing stretch fabric
• How to use a serger (optional)

Class Schedule:

• Class 1: Wednesday, November 2, 2022, 6pm-9pm
• Class 2: Wednesday, November 9, 2022, 6pm-9pm
• Class 3: Wednesday, November 16, 2022, 6pm-9pm

For this class, you have the option of picking one of the following patterns:

• Harper Classic Knit Cardigan and Duster by Sinclair Patterns
• Everton Classic Knit Cardigan by Sinclair Patterns

Pattern is included in the class. Students will need to purchase approximately 2 yards of fabric (not included in the class), depending on the pattern selected and fabric width. Details will be provided in advance of the class. Attendees should feel comfortable using a sewing machine (threading, winding a bobbin and sewing a straight line) and have some experience sewing garments.
