Looking for help with your knitting in a social setting? Want to expand your general knowledge of knitting?
We're happy to be taking bookings for Louise's in-person project class! Geared toward the knitter who is past the beginner stage, but wants to try a little more challenging, this class will help you learn anything you need to about knitting.
Louise's approach to knitting is that patterns are not carved in stone, and can be changed and adapted to the needs and wants of the knitter. This class will help you learn what you need to finish projects of your choosing, with her along to help you smooth out any learning curves on the way!
How it works:
Once you sign up for class, you'll meet for two hours at the same time of the week each month. Bring whatever project that you're working on, and Louise will be there to offer help and guidance. You can bring different projects each week or work on the same thing as you please.
Everyone in the class will be working on their own projects as well. You'll get answers specific to your own work, and also be able to broaden your knitting horizons by listening to other people's questions as well. It's a great way to socialize, learn, and get ideas for your next crafting project!
Wabi Sabi is a Japanese term for a world view focussed on recognizing and embracing the beauty and uniqueness of the unfinished, the imperfect and the impermanent.
This aesthetic and philosophical term has no English synonym, and we use it with respect for its roots, and with the knowledge that we ourselves are unfinished, imperfect, and impermanent.
