We are a small friendly shop in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside, we stock many items including; Haberdashery, Knitting yarns, Knitting patterns and accesories, Cross stitching items, homemade items and much more.
Knowledge of the basic stitches, slip stitch, chain stitch, single, double and treble crochet is required. This 2 hour fun workshop teaches you how to crochet Granny squares.
We’re not only dedicated to the conservation of our textile machines, but also to the preservation of the skills required to operate them. We offer several ways of helping you acquire these traditional skills.
The knitting lessons are suitable for the beginner or a returner to knitting, you will learn how to cast on and casting off much more.
Beginners CrochetIn this course, we will teach you the most commonly used crochet stitches, show you how to begin and finish a piece of crochet and talk about colour choices of yarns. You will learn how to read a crochet pattern, how to make granny squares.
