What will I learn?
Content includes:
Knitting materials: Needles and wool
Needle positioning
Tying a slip knot and casting on
Knitting techniques: Rows, row counting and stitches
Adding in new colours / different wool
Purling
Casting off and neatening up
Patterns
You may bring your own wool and needles but 6mm knitting needles, wool and hand-outs will be provided.

In this course we shall start at the very beginning with basic chains and wind our way through doubles, trebles with some increasing, decreasing and fancy bits along the way. The course is spread across 5 sessions which will allow us to build our knowledge gradually with lots of time.

Learn to knit your very own socks with Fiona Jones over two weeks. Sock knitting is a wonderful skill and there really is nothing quite like a pair of handmade socks. When you get the hang of it, you'll be addicted and everyone will be getting socks for Christmas!
This wonderful Christmas themed workshop is suitable for the intermediate knitter. During this class we will show you how to knit these beautiful fair isle baubles in the round using double pointed needles finishing off with an i cord hanger.
