About Us
Knit House is a cozy spot to knit set on the bay in downtown Tiburon California.
We offer classes, workshops, drop-in help, and a variety of visiting speakers to open up your knitting world to new techniques, and to help you refine the standards. We are here for you! To pick up your dropped stitches, to help you choose appropriate and inspiring products, and to encourage you in whatever project you choose to embark on. Our job is to help you love knitting as much as we do. No judgements, no pressure. Just support and fun.
We carry yarns sourced from around the world (and from our local community), sustainable and ethically crafted yarns, entirely US-made yarns, those created from luxurious fibers such as cashmere, as well as fantastic every day workhorse yarns like simple wools. We’re your one-stop shop for everything knitting and that’s why we are stocked with needles of all sizes and yarns of all weights and colors.
Our staff is passionate about knitting and they are dedicated to providing helpful instruction for all of our customers.

Crocheting course is offered by Yarnatopia. We carry a wide variety of quality yarns including some beautiful yarns from independent dyers.
As we reopen in-shop classes we have a small group capacity of 4 students per instructor. We are interested in maximizing your learning experience and our collective safety. Please note, all class fees are non-refundable.
