Korean is mainly written in Hangul, the Korean alphabet promulgated in 1446 by Sejong the Great.Hangul” consists of 14 consonants and 10 vowels that are written in blocks of 2 to 5 char- acters. Korean pronouns are highly influenced by the honorifics in the language.
The Australian Curriculum: Korean is pitched to second language learners. However, teachers cater for learners of different backgrounds by making appropriate adjustments to differentiate learning experiences for these students.
Students will be guided to speak fluent and accurate Korean in different everyday situations. The student will “Speak” most of the time through writing, listening & reading.
Korean is spoken as a first language by more than 80 million people, according to Ethnologue. It is one of the four key Asian languages for Australian languages education. As a language using the phonetic Hangual system, the Korean alphabet makes Korean easier to learn.
Korean Elementary 1 is suitable for absolute beginners. This course will provide you with cultural insights and intercultural skills that will help you better comprehend the language.
