History
Atlanta Trilingual Academy(ATA) opened April 2, 2012. The school was founded by Kishion Acosta and Tuni Acosta. ATA’s first location was 3885 Old Gordon Rd. in Atlanta, GA. ATA grew steadily its first few years. At the end of the 2013-2014 school year, the facility no longer suited the needs of a growing school.
ATA relocated to 3605 Campbellton Rd. Atlanta, GA that summer. The same summer, ATA opened it’s 2nd location in 2014 at 2581 Spring Rd Smyrna, GA 30080. ATA operated both locations for the next two school years. At the conclusion of the 2016-2017 school year, ATA consolidated operations and began operating solely at the Smyrna facility.
In 2020, after operating for 6 years in Smyrna, and 8 years overall, ATA was able to purchase a school facility on a multi acre parcel in West Atlanta. After a full update of the school building, classrooms, and grounds, ATA opened its permanent home on June 1, 2020.
