Kyokushin Kai Karate course is offered by Power Karate.
Often referred to as the "world's strongest karate", the style of Kyokyshin was founded by Mas Oyama in 1953, though it was not known as Kyokushin at that time.
Oyama opened his "Oyama Dojo" in what was essentially a grass lot in a central part of Tokyo: Mejiro ward. Oyama's style was named "Kyokushin" during a ceremony in 1957, just one year after moving into their first real dojo, a former ballet school behind Rikkyo University.
Power Karate (kyokushin) means the truth or reality in Japanese. The James Phillips Power Karate martial arts center is a full-time Zen-Kyokushinkai Karate dojo operating in Mascot Sydney.
It is one of the few dojos to offer distinct classes for children, beginners and advanced adults as well as Private lessons, Kickboxing & stretching classes. The Mascot Dojo trains 6 days a week Monday's thru to Saturday's. (Refer to Timetable).
