CCS & CCT
Community Counselling Service (CCS), based in Canterbury, was established in 2007 as a low cost independent counselling practice for all in the local community who wish to access talking therapy.
Drawing upon the wealth of experience this practice has brought us, in 2015 we launched counselling education (as CCT), in the form of a Level 2 Award in Skilled Helping and Counselling Skills, a one year Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Skills and a two year Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling - the national standard for professional counsellor qualification.
We regularly take on students who work their placement hours at CCS, so it has been a natural and thrilling progression to move into the training of counsellors.
Since then we have gone on to add advanced course qualifications in L6 Supervision, L6 Child & Young Person Counselling and, in conjunction with the East Kent Rape Crisis Centre,Our latest additions to advanced courses started in January 2022 with the introduction of a L4 Life Coaching Diploma and in September 2023 we will be launching a one-year L5 Advanced Certificate in Working with Couples, Relationships & Sex and a L6 Advanced Certificate in Imagery Rescripting.
Details of all courses are on the various Training and Life Coaching pages.

About Our Training
We understand very well about the difficulties, challenges, and great benefits of studying to become a counsellor. So we recognise the need for a fully supportive education which will enable you to achieve not just a qualification but gain valuable experience and personal development from studying within an organisation wholly committed to the practice and process of counselling.
CPD
In addition to the qualification courses, monthly CPD Workshops are offered, covering a breadth of psychotherapeutic topics open to qualified practitioners and students alike, and facilitated by highly qualified and experienced trainers.
So, welcome to our website and to your new pathway to a first-class counselling education and ongoing study and development - we look forward to hearing from you and working with you.
We all have personal goals, but how many of us actually achieve them? Many find that the structure of working with a coach enables them to be far more effective and stay on track. Coaching introduces processes which can help you to keep the momentum towards achieving your goals.
Life Coaching offers a dynamic to enable you to identify your goals in life and career and translate these goals into actions
An intuitive life coach is a professional who helps you change your life and live your dream by helping you access your intuition. I believe that our “inner-tuition”, or intuition as it is called, knows what is good for us and knows what we need.
