It is approved by Queensland Radiation Health (ED259) and recognised by other state radiation health departments and insurers.

It includes a Laser Safety Officer Certificate and can be used to apply for a licence in Queensland, Tasmania and Western Australia. No other states require licences but you are expected to comply with the AS/NZS Standards and complete laser safety education.
