What's it all about?

School of Code is about opening the opportunity of tech up to everyone. Our free coding bootcamp takes you from 0 to programmer and launches you into a tech career with our Employer Partners. We've achieved 85% employment into tech across all of our bootcamps so far, including during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We've come a long way since our very first bootcamp. We've trained over 200 people, and are looking to transform the lives of another 192 across the country before April 2022.

 

About the Bootcamp

School of Code offers free intensive and flexible coding courses open to applicants of all backgrounds. You don’t need to have any previous technical experience or any qualifications. All you need is motivation, and to like solving problems!

School of Code's purpose is to give everyone a route into technology, and teach them the skills they need to leap into the industry.

The rise in automation will have a dramatic impact on the job market. We aim to prepare people with the tech skills and soft skills to become collaborative, creative coders.

So far, we've achieved an average of 85% employment from our previous cohorts (including during the COVID-19 pandemic). But, more important than stats, we've helped people completely change their lives for the better.

The latest addition to our Code Clock workshop roster, Code Clock 'Minors' provides an opportunity for young people who currently attend or about to leave primary school i.e. in P5-P7. Over the course of the week, young people will learn coding fundamentals through experiential learning
