Learning outcomes
What the course covers
Learn to better engage, support and empower workers on-site to be safe. We will explain the business case for health and safety, showing the wide range of tangible and financial benefits gained through high-level health and safety performance. This establishes the need for improved leadership.
Learners will examine the origin of their company’s health and safety culture and their own role in shaping the culture to improve health and safety performance. We will then discuss the primary legal duties and ways in which these can be met.
The webinar course looks at how to build accountability into the health and safety system to ensure that all health and safety activities are effective and working.
Learners will practise having positive conversations with staff and how to coach staff to improve. Learners will discover how to engage and support workers, showing them that they are each empowered to always be safe.

This manual handling course is structured on four simple manual handling techniques. We want to take the first step towards creating good habits and to have these learnings used in every lift our trainees make.
