Leading Community Organisations

LEAD is next delivering its flagship programme Leading and Managing Community Organisations in August 2022. The 10 week course is online so you will be able to participate from wherever you are in Aotearoa.

Because leading in a community organisation can be complex, this training will give you the skills, knowledge and confidence to lead people, projects, and stakeholders, whilst still driving results.

The course will be a mix of:

• self-directed learning (readings and learning activities you do on your own)

• peer support discussions every other week to deepen your discussions and learning on specific topics to support and grow your leadership (either online or in person, depending on where you are)

• large group virtual workshops every alternate fortnight, exploring specific leadership topics in-depth (via Zoom, 10am to noon on Sept 9/23 and October 7/21)

• one-on-one coaching with the facilitators

• personal written feedback from the facilitators.
