When Kaukab came to the UK from Pakistan she became very aware of the cultural differences at university and whilst working in organisations. She found it stressful trying to cope with the demands of work, alongside her struggle to integrate herself in to a new culture and way of life.
This experience, coupled with the fact that more and more clients are now seeking counselling to cope with various types of stress (with work related stress being most common), led her to develop ways of helping people to manage their stress without taking time off work or having a breakdown.
