Learn To Crochet

In this class, we’ll cover everything you need to know to crochet – from the basics of how to hold your hook to the four most common crochet stitches. You will be making a small pouch which will be great for holding all your new crochet hooks!

Please purchase all your supplies before your first class. You will need:

• Bulky or chunky weight yarn (size 5 or 6). I recommend Ultra Wool Chunky by Berroco or Perfection Chunky. You only need one skein/cake. Please choose yarn that is light in color with a smooth texture. It can be hard to see exactly where to insert the hook when you use dark or multicolor yarn with a lot of fuzz or texture.
• Size 6.5 or 7mm crochet hook, or whichever size is recommended on the label of the yarn you choose.

All of this is available at Stitch Central! Please come before your class to get your supplies - either an earlier day or 15-20 minutes before your class.
