DurationThis 5 session workshop series is an introduction to the basics of quilting. Learn to sew a 1/4inch seam, the importance of ironing/ pressing, nesting seams, sandwiching the batting and backing layers, and binding.?
No need to worry about cutting in this workshop! This workshop is designed to perfect stitching your seams and completing a small quilt project. This quilt will work well as a wall hanging, lap or baby quilt, or even for your favorite pet! All materials are included in the registration fee, and sewing machines are available for use as well.?

Create your own heirloom while learning the A-Z of quilting in this 8-session class. Start by choosing your fabrics with our assistance. (Fabrics must be purchased from Rose Cottage.) Six different blocks each teach you fundamental piecing skills.
As our Summer Sit and Sew days were a resounding success, we have decided to run a series of Fall Sit and Sew Days! Come use our space and our tools (and escape your family, renovations or anything else you'd like to leave at home).
You can take a custom curriculum based on your sewing and design profile. Using a mix of short term classes, workshops, and 1-on-1 instruction, you can learn new skills personalizing your path to sewing with confidence.
This quilt is good for someone that knows the basics of sewing, but wants to try different shapes
This weekly 1 hr. class introduces students to Basic Sewing using the Kids Can Sew Workbook Level 1 for Girls/Boys or Teens. while working through the Kids Can Sew Workbook students will complete a project approximately every 4 weeks.
