This class is designed for the sewist interested in making their first quilt. Class will cover: piecing together the quilt top, basting, quilting options, and how to install a binding. Students will use the pattern Fireside by Suzy Quilts and have the option to make a baby or throw sized quilt.

Skill level:
Novice. Students should be comfortable on a sewing machine and be able to thread and wind a bobbin on their own.
What you'll need:
As part of our COVID protocol and trying to limit the use of shared tools, all students will be required to bring their own scissors, pins, marking pens, rotary cutter & mat (if using). Students are welcome to use our sewing machines & irons/ironing boards. If you'd like to bring your own machine, please let us know prior to class.
