DurationThe Start Sailing course is exactly what it sounds like! We introduce you to sailing a yacht and help you become a knowledgeable, confident and competent crewmember to have on board.
It is an ideal starting point for those with dinghy sailing experience but not ‘big boat’ sailing time, or for those who are brand new to the awesome world of sailing!

Prerequisites
None! This is our entry level Learn to Sail course, no experience required.
4 days of on-the-water training, returning home each night.4 students maximum.

Brigs offers voyages for adults 18+ who want to learn to sail a tall ship.Â
This program is for those sailors who want to learn to sail independently.
For formal basic sailing training, CANSail 1/2 introduces novice members to boat handling, the different points of sail, and other basic sailing skills.
Enjoy a fun and relaxing 3-hour (or longer) experience on the water with your Sail Canada instructor as your skipper.
