What You’ll Learn:
I will never forget the feeling I had the first time I wore something I had sewn myself. A skill that had once seemed impossible was suddenly accessible and I immediately began planning the next project.
Learning to sew provides a sense of achievement, creates a more sustainable and self-sufficient lifestyle and gives you complete freedom to wear exactly what you want and feel great in it.
Sewing classes are offered by Fabrics For All for all skill level. We are passionate about helping people in the area get creative and turn your dream project into reality.
All our adult classes are mixed ability and mixed project. Every student has the opportunity to make what they want to make with expert guidance and support. This means we can have a wedding dress being made along side piped cushions! The classes are small between 3-5 participants.
A one day workshop to discover the techniques used in couture sewing. This will include underlining, balanced darts and interfaced hems and seam finishes. Discover which underlining to use to create structure and body.
Patchwork & Quilting classes are offered by New Forest Fabrics for all skill level. We have 6 sewing machines for hire. If you wish to reserve one, please confirm when booking. The charge is £5 per class. You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine if you prefer.
Work on your own choice of project or on Carole's choice of project. Please book a seat to avoid disappointment.
