We will begin by learning how the sewing machine works and how to thread it then move on to making a drawstring bag, a lined tote bag, a lined pouch with a zip and a patchwork cushion. If you've got the sewing bag after the classes you can then book an Improvers Sewing Course and learn dressmaking and how to make more complex bags & patchwork.
I know life is busy so you don't have to commit to the same day or time each week as it's only the two of us. I have a visor, plenty of disinfectant and a system for quarantining equipment to keep us safe.

Getting to know your sewing machine, taking you through the basics of setting up and working a sewing machine. You will practice setting up your machine and using different stitches and feet, finishing off by making a small tote bag with button closure.
