Learn To Sew (Kids Sewing Class)

These workshops are perfect for children aged 8 yrs and above. These classes are for children who would love to learn how to sew. You will learn along side your child to make a beautiful hand sewn project to take home. The workshop is designed for parents/carers to stay and work with their child and take home something you can both be proud of.

What will you learn during these workshop?

• how to cut fabric correctly
• how to thread up and use a sewing machine.
• how to sew a straight line.
• learn how to sew curves and turn angles.
• learn how to attach different fabrics together using stitching techniques.

What will you need to bring to the workshop?

You don’t need to bring anything unless you have your own fabric that you’d like to use for the project. You will be sent an email before the class with more info. Everything else will be provided for you. Including juice and biscuits and tea and coffee for the grown ups.

Please note that when booking you are booking for a child and an accompanying adult who will be required to stay for the duration of the workshop. You will be making one item during the session.
