Learn to sew over four sessions with in-depth instruction!
This four-week workshop will teach you how to sew in a fun, non-frustrating way while also teaching you key fundamentals to help you continue building your skillset after our four weeks are up.
Each week our session will be 3 to 4 hours long and we will build on your skill level with each session. This is a non-gender-specific workshop, everyone can participate and create great projects that can be used by everyone.

Leave this workshop with confidence and the ability to continue on your sewing journey. Fabric will be available for purchase in our retail shop at a 10% discount to students.
All other tools and notions needed to complete this class will be provided, including sewing machines. You may choose to bring your own sewing machine.

Learn the parts of your sewing machine along with sewing terms as you thread your machine, wind a bobbin, and more while sewing a little project. Find out how and when to adjust machine tension, change needles, and trouble shoot common sewing problems.
In this one-hour class, students will learn how to use a sewing machine and get some practice time to explore the different features.  They’ll become familiar with the different parts of the sewing machine, learn how to thread the machine and the bobbin, and do some stitching on scrap fabric.
Sewing on zippers is a quick application any beginning sewer needs to know. Did you know there are many different ways to insert a zipper? In this class you will learn three basic ways to insert a zipper, different types of zippers and when to use them
Learn techniques for sewing with your serger like inside curves and outside curves. Setting up your machine for a rolled hem. Also learn more about differential feed and when and how to adjust it.
