Legionella training is a fundamental part of any good legionella risk management programme. It is important that those responsible for the management of legionella control in premises are fully aware of the relevant legislation and the control of legionella bacteria.

It is in fact a legal requirement for those with responsibility for managing premises to be competent in your role. Not just for health and safety professionals, this means that if you have any responsibility for the control of legionella at work yo  should be suitably and sufficiently trained in legionella, legionnaires' disease awareness, risk assessment and control measures required.

Who Should Take A Legionella Awareness Training Course?

The training course is suitable for anyone in charge of a premises no matter how big or small the premises and regardless of the number of people present in a premises. This includes all employers, self-employed people and anyone else in control of a premises, such as landlords, letting agents and facilities managers.
Upon successful completion of the legionella awareness training course a course certificate is issued, which can be used to provide evidence for compliance and audit.
