At the end of the course participants will be familiar with the basic principles of double entry bookkeeping, and will have prepared trial balances, profit and loss accounts and balance sheets to a basic level.
The aim of this qualification is to develop complex skills and knowledge necessary to work in a bookkeeping role or to progress to higher level accountancy roles or study.
These two units assume no previous bookkeeping experience and teach the rules of double entry. By the end of these units you will be able to process business transactions and create a set of accounting records to produce a Trial Balance.
On this course, you will learn practical bookkeeping skills. You will learn underpinning theory including how to identify assets, liabilities, income and expenses, how to identify profit and loss and the differences between trading for cash and trading on credit.
This course will help to equip the candidates with the required skills. Topics like double-entry book keeping, income statement, financial planning and assets and liabilities are included in this course.
