Level 1 Certificate in Business and Administration

The Level 1 Business and Administration course provides the first step towards a career in administration. You will be introduced to the basic elements that are needed to work and communicate in a business environment and enable learners to work on a range of practical skills in a real working environment.

Who is the course for?

• People aged 16 – 18

• People aged up to 24 who declare a disability and have an EHC Plan

• 19+

What are the entry requirements?

• Learners are required to have an English and Maths qualification at Entry 2 or above.

• The course requires a degree of personal responsibility and the ability to work as part of a team.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed throughout the course as you build a portfolio of work that shows evidence of the skills you have learnt.

What could I progress to?

After you have achieved the Level 1 Business and Administration qualification, you could progress to:

• Level 2 Business and Administration course

• Traineeships

• Apprenticeship

• Employment / volunteering

What is a Study Programme?
