The Level 1 Diploma in Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy has been designed for those wanting to prepare for a career as a Beauty Therapist, hair stylist, make-up artist, and make-up consultancy.

If you want to pursue a career in hairdressing, this course can help you master the basic skills you'll need. You'll have the chance to take part in a wide range of activities including competitions, presentations, workshops and demonstrations.
By far our most popular barber course to date at Thomas Lloyd. This barbering course is ideal for beginners with no experience in barbering or if you have limited barbering skills.
We can teach you how to blow dry your hair correctly or how to curl your hair using straighteners or tongs or perhaps you would like to learn how to change your look with a simple updo or plaits.
If you are aged 16-18, love to learn, but have very little or no work experience, then a Traineeship Programme could be ideal for you.
