What Will I Learn?
You will study a variety of units, which could include Health & Social Care for Children, Young People & Adults, Health & Safety, Preparation for Employment, Play & Practical Activities, Personal Development, and Nutrition.
Entry Requirements
3 GCSEs at D or above (including Maths/Numeracy and English Language/Welsh first Language) or completion of a full vocational programme which must include GCSE Maths/Numeracy and English Language/Welsh at grades D or above
Assessment
You will be asked to complete assignments during the year and will be assessed on these. NCFE recommends that a minimum of 80% attendance is essential to successfully complete the course.
Career Progression
After successfully completing the Diploma, you may be able to progress to the WJEC/City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Children’s Care, Learning and Development, Level 2 Health and Social Core or another Level 2 qualification within the college.
