There are many interesting and exciting career opportunities within the airline industry. This Air Cabin Crew and Ground Operations course will give you status to seek employment as a member of air cabin crew or other hospitality industries such as cruise line staff, luxury trains and ground crew work.
This qualification is equivalent to 5 GCSEs, is widely recognised by industry and taught within a grade 1, award winning department.
Course Content
You should have excellent communications skills, good leadership potential and a cheerful nature. Knowledge of a foreign language is desirable but not essential. This course is suitable for mature learners aged 17+ considering a career change and is a two term programme beginning in September.

First Aid at Work
Food and Drink Service VRQ2
Level 2 Food Safety
During the course you will be required to wear an airline style uniform for some training aspects and you will be subject to the same discipline that an airline would impose. You will have access to staff with airline experience, the use of cabin crew training facilities and a swimming assessment.

Anyone aged 17 + with a genuine passion for the Airline and Airport industry.

Record and celebrate achievements made by the College and its communities
Continue to upgrade our technology to meet sustainability goals
Move from single-use plastic consumables in all campus shops to metal alternatives
Provide a branded metal refillable bottle for students when they start their course at College
Promote sustainability in prominent places on the website, including Sustainability News and other channels
Commit to the Nature Pledge, as suggested and guided by BPC Council
Mitigate the impact of new, more energy-efficient developments such as at Lansdowne, by creating a green space with more trees planted than those removed to facilitate the construction
Continue to explore and promote sustainable travel options such as the Cycle to Work Scheme, to help improve local air quality and health and well-being.
Incentivise students and staff to use sustainable travel options through our partnership with Beryl, the leading bike-hire company, by on-campus events, group rides and free minute vouchers.
