Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (RQF)

First established in 2017, WRTUK has become one of the leading training providers in Northern Ireland.

Starting off as a Water and Rescue Training provider, we have expanded to include first aid, prehospital care, Security courses and education courses as well as being an online retailer.

With experienced trainers based across the UK, from a wide range of backgrounds, we provide training in our Belfast centre, online or in your own location.

An approved training centre with multiple awarding bodies such as Qualsafe, Rescue 3 Europe and QNUK, we have a wide range of courses available.

Previous learners range from members of the public, voluntary organisations and workplace first aiders to security services, close protection operators and emergency services.

As a retailer, we have privileged to be sole supplier of Openhouse Products in Northern Ireland and Ireland.

We are also approved suppliers of Elite Bags, Zoll and Aquatek.

We have now introduced our first Ambulance WRT-01, allowing us to provide a higher level of event cover and patient transport.

The aim & future

WRTUK are now currently in the process of organising a fleet of vehicles for ambulance patient transport, urgent calls, organ transplant and repatriation. The FREC pathway will be increased to FREUC 5 diploma which is a higher award than the previous IHCD Ambulance Technician and the Future Quals Associate Ambulance Practitioner.
On the education side our trainers are working on the delivery of the Level 4 Certificate and Level 5 Diploma in Education
