Course Details

Our 'Mental Health First Aid' training courses are designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills they need to recognise and respond to a mental health crisis in the workplace and beyond.

Talking about mental health can be challenging but is essential in promoting a positive culture in which staff can feel valued and stigma surrounding mental health can be challenged.

The Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health course provides learners with knowledge to recognise a range of mental health conditions, empowers them to start supportive conversations, provides guidance for how to signpost others to seek professional help, and equips them to implement a positive mental health culture in the workplace.

We recognise how important it is to look after our own mental health, so this course will also aid learners to recognise and manage stress.

Learners will not be trained to diagnose mental health conditions but gain knowledge to provide initial support to someone who may need it.
