Working with substances is common in many workplaces. These workplaces include anything from cleaning to construction. As a part of good health and safety management the employer is responsible for undertaking a risk assessment and implementing appropriate controls.

These controls may include providing appropriate training.

• This qualification is aimed at employees that require an understanding of the risks and controls when working with substances that are hazardous to health.

• This is a qualification that indicates an individual can undertake a specific role in the workplace and that may be relied upon by employers.

This is a half-day (4 hour) course
