DurationThis Highfield accredited course provides participants with the knowledge, understanding and skills in treating a casualty who is unresponsive but breathing and a casualty who is not breathing. Participants will learn how to provide CPR, use a defibrillator and place a casualty in to the recovery position.
Prerequisites: Learners must be able to kneel on the floor and complete several cycles of CPR using a manakin.
Who is it aimed at?
This qualification is an introduction to first aid and provides participants with the experience and confidence to use defibrillator in an emergency.
