This vocational media production course will introduce learners to the production skills needed to get started in the film and television industry.
What Will I Learn?
The 1-year practical course will teach you all the required skills needed for video production, filmmaking, video editing, sound design, and interactive media.
You also learn about production planning work, research into different types of media and learn about key themes and media terminology.
Entry Requirements
4 GCSEs at grade D or above (including Maths and English/Welsh first Language), or equivalent level 1 qualifications
Career Progression
Successful completion of the Level 2 course can also allow you to progress onto our L3 Diploma in Creative Media Production (TV & Film)

The workplace could be a broadcast or operations centre as part of TV/radio studio operations, on a film or television set, at client premises or a location shoot, working on site in live events venues, or home or office based as part of a content creation agency.
We provide training courses and facilities for film makers & animators. We work with adults & young people at our studio and in schools, colleges and art centres.
This course aims to give a practical hands-on introduction to multi-camera TV studio production. It will include many of the technical and production roles in the studio including camera operation, sound mixing, directing and vision mixing to name but a few.
