The course consists of mandatory units and a selection of optional units that will be matched to your job role. Topics include: Communication, Health and Safety, Laws and legislation, Responsibilities, Policies and Procedures for the Sector, Role of a Care Worker, Equality & Diversity, Adult Safeguarding, Duty of Care, Handling of Information, Infection Control, Professional Development.
Learners will need to be in employment, a supporting role or volunteer for 15 hours a week or more. This also includes direct payment support workers, volunteers and people who are in a caring role with family members etc.
Learners will have an interview which will enable us to discuss your individual learner needs, course content and career prospects. Please note there may be additional costs for books, materials or other expenses.

The End of Life course provides Care Staff, with an understanding of how to support and care for clients when they are nearing the end of their life.
The Care Certificate was presented to: Substitute the Common Induction Standards (CIS) and National Minimum Training Standards (NMTS). With that achieving learning outcomes, competences and standards that will ensure care quality standards.
Care Plan training is offered by Care Trainings. We provide the most cost-effective, Interacting and Engaging training sessions combining different ways of including discussion, group work, film clips, demonstration.
It covers the aims and principles of end of life care, communication factors and how to access a range of support services in end of life care.
