The Course

This course is perfect for you if you aspire to enter the aviation and cabin crew industry. It covers the fundamental knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to pursue a career in this dynamic and exciting field.

This course will help you to:

  • understand the basic principles of aviation and the cabin crew profession

  • gain insights into the various roles and responsibilities within the aviation industry

  • develop the necessary communication, safety, and customer service skills

  • become familar with industry standards, regulations, and best practices; and

  • prepare for further education and training in aviation and related fields.

Entry requirements

Four GCSEs at grade 3/D, including a combination of grade 2/3 (E/D) for maths and English. Level 2 students who do not have a grade 4/C in English and/or maths will study a GCSE in the subject(s) as part of their Study Programme. Students must be aged 17 before 31 August 2024 to take this course.

Next steps

On successful completion of this course you could progress to the Level 3 study programme in Travel and Tourism at the College. You could also progress to employment at entry-level positions in airlines and airports or undertake further training as a cabin crew member or ground staff. This stuy programme is also an ideal foundation for pursuing higher-level qualifications in aviation management or piloting.
