The Course
This course focuses on UK and worldwide destinations and also investigates the components of the travel industry. You will develop customer service and business skills, as well as gaining knowledge of UK and European holiday destinations.
You’ll also explore the promotion and sales in travel and tourism, to help understand how travel destinations are promoted to customers. You will also take part in visits to hotels and attractions, work experience in the travel industry and listen to guest speakers talking about their experiences.
Entry requirements
Typically you will need 4 GCSEs at grade 3/D or above, including a 3/2 (D/E) combination for maths and English.
Next steps
You could progress to Level 3 Travel & Tourism at the College or gain employment in the industry.
