Course Details

This professional and vocational 4 year course is for those students who wish to teach in a Montessori setting in England. The course combines the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, (Stage 1) and The SCQF Level 8 Montessori Diploma in Early Years. (Stage 2)

Taught via a mixture of remote learning, in-person workshops and  teaching practice placements, this course is suitable for:

  • People wanting to work in England and who want to  become a Montessori teacher in a nursery or early years setting and who don’t hold a Level 3 EYE qualification already.

  • People who want to set up their own Montessori setting; perhaps as a childminder, after school provision or a formal nursery.

If you are in England then you need to ensure that you have a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification in order to be counted in the nursery ratios by OFSTED.

If you already have this qualification then you would be choosing the SCQF Level 8 Diploma for your Montessori journey.
