Level 3 Access to Higher Education Diploma - Law and Criminology

Hopwood Hall are delighted to offer this exciting new course which will provide a direct route into Higher Education courses and careers in the fields of Criminology, Law, Policing, Forensic Psychology and many related disciplines.

Designed in consultation with Northwest Universities, it has a wide-ranging content, covering topics such as criminal law, criminal psychology and profiling, police powers, the operation of the criminal justice system, sentencing policy, terrorism, the reliability of criminal evidence, and the prison system.

Access courses are designed for students who want a fast-track route to university or to progress into careers and vocations that require higher level qualifications.

This Diploma will be of particular interest to students seeking to become: a criminal lawyer; a police officer; a forensic psychologist; a youth justice social worker; a probation officers; a prison officer, or a youth and community worker.

On the course you will benefit from quality lectures and support from experienced tutors, the input of external speakers from universities and those working in the criminal justice field, and court visits.
