How is The Course Delivered?
There are three different acceptable methods of the Level 3 Award in Education and Training being completed.
Classroom: We deliver the Level 3 Award in Education and Training at our head office in Cannock, Staffordshire once every three months. This would be three days of fun interactive learning and practical assessments. Each learner would

Online: The online method is the most flexible method of completing the course. Each learner can start and complete the course at a time convenient for them. There would be three written assessments that would need to be completed as well as a 15-minute micro teach.

After an extensive career of over 30 years as an NHS Paramedic for the West Midlands Ambulance Service and on the road for the County Air Ambulance, Ian Bryan decided to follow his passion for helping to save lives through passing on his life-saving knowledge by launching a First Aid and Health and Safety Training Business – which is when Staffordshire First Aid Training and Safe Haven Training Limited was born.
From current NHS staff to past Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service Firefighters - All of our trainers at Staffordshire First Aid Training are highly qualified and experienced in teaching Pre-Hospital Emergency Care, which enables them to deliver the highest quality standards of training for you.
Throughout the years, our family-run business has grown positively to enable us to have contracts with many local businesses, schools, early year nurseries, councils and even larger companies within the West Midlands.
We continue to offer a variety of courses to fulfil businesses and individual's requirements with the option of participating in one of our courses at a choice of one of our venues or your own venue.
At present, we offer regular open courses across the West Midlands for individuals or businesses in the following areas: Cannock, Stafford, Stoke on Trent, Burton upon Trent, Wolverhampton, and Telford.
As a Training Provider, we pride ourselves on offering workplace First Aid and Health and Safety courses that you need in order to remain compliant within the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines.
At Safe Haven Training we offer many regulated courses, the 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work which gives you a good understanding of emergency situations or the 3-day First Aid at Work which has further medical conditions included.
The 2-day Paediatric First Aid meets Ofsted and EYFS requirements, or you could go for the 1-day Emergency Paediatric First Aid which gives you a good understanding of paediatric emergencies. Learners will spend the first 4 weeks completing a free separate short course (20 hours) in Developing Thinking Skills. This will allow learners to gain essential skills and to provide an overview of what to expect when working in schools. Successful learners then progress to the main course.
