Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF)
The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require all employers to make arrangements to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. This includes carrying out a risk assessment, appointing a suitable amount of first aiders and providing appropriate first aid training.
Intended Audience
The Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification, specifically designed for those who are appointed to act as a first aider in their workplace. It is also ideal for people who have a specific responsibility to provide first aid in voluntary and community activities.

We have now introduced our first Ambulance WRT-01, allowing us to provide a higher level of event cover and patient transport.
The aim & future
WRTUK are now currently in the process of organising a fleet of vehicles for ambulance patient transport, urgent calls, organ transplant and repatriation. The FREC pathway will be increased to FREUC 5 diploma which is a higher award than the previous IHCD Ambulance Technician and the Future Quals Associate Ambulance Practitioner.
On the education side our trainers are working on the delivery of the Level 4 Certificate and Level 5 Diploma in Education
First Aid is an essential element of health and safety at work and a regulatory bar for employers to meet – this includes both physical First Aid and Mental Health First Aid.
This is a one-day course that is suitable for all types of work environments, is HSE compliant and leads to a first aid qualification valid for 3 years.
This course covers the practical skills needed by a first aider in the modern workplace. The course will give you the confidence and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies.
This course is very practical and includes scenarios and role play to build on candidates’ knowledge and confidence; enabling them to qualify as a First Aider for the workplace, meeting the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
The First Aid at Work (FAW) training course covers the practical skills needed by first aiders in the workplace and gives candidates the ability to handle with first aid emergencies.
