Sam Rents
I started my career as a professional footballer, spanning over a 10 year period playing for a number of professional clubs including Brighton & Hove Albion, Crawley Town and Sutton Utd.
The next step in my career was gaining my teaching qualifications and delivering A-level sport & BTEC programmes in higher education settings; Sixth form colleges and football academies.
My passion had always been the human body, so in 2017 I retrained in a number of therapies including; sports massage, holistic massage, lymphatic drainage, dry cupping, ultrasound and assisted stretch therapy.
Manual therapy was the recovery modality I found most effective in my playing days – there are a whole host of benefits not only physically, but mentally and emotionally too. I believe in a therapeutic and holistic approach to manual therapy in all settings, including sports. And that is the way Massage Hub Training Centre will deliver each and every course.
