This qualification is informed by employers and national occupational standards for beauty therapy and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a fully commercial skin peeling practitioner.
Learners must achieve all mandatory units which include: Principles and practice of non-medical aesthetic therapies Advanced consultation for non-medical aesthetic therapies Advanced skin care for non-medical aesthetic therapies Provide skin peeling treatments Throughout this qualification, learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology and health and safety pertaining to level 4 non-medical aesthetic therapies.
They will also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to consult with and analyse clients whilst providing skin peeling treatments.
In parallel, learners will develop their communication and customer service skills and widen their knowledge of the principles and practices of level 4 non-medical aesthetic therapies, all of which are valued highly by employers.
Entry Requirements & Progression
What You'll Need
A Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification, with a minimum of Level 2 Beauty Therapy with a Level 3 Facial Electrical Therapy qualification.
This Could Lead to
Learners will be able to progress on to the range of different courses within our Aesthetics department. This may include but is not limited to Level 4 Advanced Beauty Therapy, Level 4 Skin Needling, Level 4 Dermaplaning or Level 5 Laser Tattoo Removal.

These include T Levels, traineeships, apprenticeships, HE, and part-time and professional courses. These courses help prepare students for employment in their chosen career path or progress to university or onto an apprenticeship.
The college was a wave one T Level provider in 2020 and is the lead college for the South Coast Institute of
Technology (IoT).

CETC
Our Civil Engineering Training Centre (CETC) is a purpose-built two-acre mock construction site close to our CEMAST training centre on the Daedalus Airfield, and is dedicated to the delivery of a specialist Civil Engineering & Groundworks Apprenticeship and also specialist training in Highways.
