Certificate in Education and Training (CET) Course Duration

The CET course takes around 360 hours to complete. You must also demonstrate that you've spent 30 hours practising teaching. You can complete the course at your own pace and complete course assignments online.

How Long Will the Course Be Accessible After Enrolling?

Once enrolled, you can access the course for 1 year.

Requirements

  • Be aged 19 and above.

  • Learners should have a good understanding of the English language.

Assessments

You will be accessed by online assignments, teaching practice demonstrations, and a portfolio of teaching evidence.

  • Essay Type Assignments: The CET essay assignments are theory assessments.

  • Practical Assessment: A tutor/assessor will observe and evaluate you for at least 3 hours out of the 30 hours of teaching practice.

Highfield Approved Qualification Certificate

After completing the course content and passing the online and practical assessments, you will receive a Highfield-approved qualification certificate.
